SJE-Rhombus introduces its intrinsically safe Retro control panels to be used in conjunction with the company’s other float-based control panels that require intrinsically safe float circuits. Other features include:
- The flexibility to be field retrofitted with any of the company’s Build-A-Panel™ control panels being controlled by 3 or 4 control switches.
- A 3- or 4-channel intrinsically safe module to limit the amount of energy to switches to prevent the ignition of flammable gases.
- An intrinsically safe partition to isolate the intrinsically safe wiring.
- A NEMA 4X enclosure that is rated for indoor or outdoor installations.
- A factory-installed terminal block for float connection.
- Suitability for pump chambers, lift stations and other installations classified as hazardous locations requiring intrinsically safe circuits.
- A UL/cUL listing, in addition to a 3-year limited warranty.
- An optional lockable latch to secure the enclosure.
