AIM American Industrial Metrology recently released its angle position monitoring system as a wireless solution for precisely measuring angles of tilt using inclinometer sensors. The company says that the system further boasts:
- Sensors that use factory-calibrated accelerometers to measure and compute angles made between its axis and the gravity vector.
- The transmission of live data via a wireless transceiver that has a clear line of sight range of 100 meters.
- The capability to measure the tilt of spray headers for temper mills.
- Suitability for air knives, or any other type of nozzle or component in which the angle of attack matters.
