No need for special XML-enabled printers, this system not only permits you to design label formats with label design tools, but also populate and print them by sending XML files to a monitored folder or a transmission control/Internet protocol (TCP/IP) port. - The EASYLABEL® 5 Platinum's XML monitor watches a file directory or TCP/IP port, and automatically prints your RFID or barcode labels when a compatible XML file is received. This feature offers a direct connection to any application capable of generating a properly formatted XML file, thereby making printing your RFID or barcode labels from your supply chain or manufacturing software seamless.
- The XML generator enables you to generate XML from a given format file by prompting for the format, the number of labels to print, which printer to use and the variable data used to populate the fields on the format. The XML file that results can then be used as a template, which can be uploaded to and populated from within an XML-enabled application. The .net framework, and Windows 2000 or Windows XP is required to use the XML generator.
