KIN-TEK recently launched its Trace Source™ configurable diffusion tubes to extend the range of compounds that can be used to include subliming solids and viscous liquids, in addition to dynamically blending trace concentration gas mixtures for a large number of common solvents. According to the company, these tubes come with:
- A removable reservoir that allows filling with the capillary removed, so the component compound can be any consistency.
- A variety of pre-configured and tested capillaries that can be interchangeably fitted to the reservoir to adjust the range of obtainable concentrations.
- The flexibility to use multiple tubes simultaneously in the FlexStream™ automated gas standards generating system to create multi-component gas mixtures.
- Suitability for gas standards of solids and viscous liquids, analytical methods development and standards for semi-volatile hazardous air pollutants.
