FilterSense introduces its continuous particulate emission monitor and baghouse filter leak detector, which incorporates automatic self-checks (zero and span) to automate EPA MACT requirements for periodic instrument validation. According to the company, the continuous particulate emission monitor and baghouse filter leak detector also deliver:
- Enhanced reliability over older opacity and triboelectic technologies, particularly in difficult applications, such as coal, steel, cement, carbon black, lead smelters, chemical plants and pharmaceutical spray dryers.
- Benefits that include stack monitoring, detecting filter leaks for maintenance, eliminating cleanup costs, preventing the escape of valuable powders, and protecting downstream equipment such as blowers and HEPA filters.
- Automatic signal diagnostics for the monitor to improve performance and simplify setup.
