Ultrachem, Inc. has received certification that the company’s food-grade synthetic lubricants, oils and greases meet the requirements of Halal Certification, as established by the Islamic Food and Nutrition Council of America (IFANCA). According to the company, Omnilube® food grade products additionally:
- Meet all of the requirements of the USDA and FDA H-1 regulations, 21 CFR 178.3570 and conform to the requirements of NSF.
- Are approved by the Orthodox Union for Kosher use.
- Have recently been certified to the requirements of Russian GOST-R for use in Industrial and Food Grade applications.
