American Fabric Filter continues to expand its range of fabrics and designs for filter media far beyond industry-standard felts. As always, each system is custom designed and manufactured by staff that listens to each customer's needs, and creates an effective filter design based on CFM, dust type and usage — within the space available. More specifically:
- Shiny nylon and polyester satins provide optimal cake release for problematic sticky or fibrous dust.
- High-breathing mono-filaments and rugged coated fabrics are available for filters that must endure harsh outdoor conditions.
- A 10-foot (L) slick nylon satin bag captures fine plastics dust, plus a full-length taper increases the breathable surface area without a bottom shelf inside the bag for falling dust on which to accumulate.
