Spectroline® fluorescent dyes are designed to reveal all leaks in static and circulating water systems, boilers, storage tanks and other high-volume containers. With this leak detection method, you add a small amount of the fluorescent dye into a system and allow it to circulate. Wherever the water escapes, so does the dye. When the system is scanned with a high-intensity ultraviolet lamp, the dye glows brightly to pinpoint the location of the leak. Three dyes are available:
- WD-801 makes leak sites fluoresce blue.
- WD-802 has a bright green color.
- WD-803 has a blue-green color.
