The Sturtevant Simpactor® pin mill or Powderizer® air classifying mill can be used with the Superfine® air classifier to obtain fractions precisely selected for particle size, starch protein level, viscosity or absorption. With this system, precise separations are achieved for protein shifts, primary classifications, coarse and fine separation. Other system features include:
- Top-mounted inlet.
- Ability to select fine particles or de-dust a coarse product.
- A miller that can also use the protein rich "fines" to enhance other streams.
