American Sensor Technologies, Inc. has released a line of non-incendive, intrinsically safe or explosion-proof pressure transmitters. A ½" NPT male pressure port has a large, non-clogging opening, while an optional ¼" NPT female version:
- Is made from 316L Stainless Steel, which meets NACE MR0175 material requirements to prevent sulfide stress cracking from sour gas.
- Gives customers the option to install products as retrofits for existing panels or sites.
- Results in lower prices for mating connector fittings.
- Reduces the overall length of the sensors to approximately 3.25 inches.
