ABB has released its latest flowmeters—the OriMaster compact orifice DP series. According to the company, installation costs associated with the OriMaster are up to 50 percent lower than other flowmeters due to the fact that it is pre-configured and pressure tested. Also, the wafer design allows it to be fitted into an existing space between standard pipe flanges. Suitable for clean liquids, gases and steam applications, the OriMaster combines a manifold, transmitter and impulse piping in one assembly. The specs include:
