The effects of this movement on the specialty materials application market is one of many issues that will be addressed at the Corrosion Solutions Conference Sept. 9-13 at the Central Oregon resort community of Sunriver. The conference is sponsored by ATI Wah Chang, an Allegheny Technologies company and a leading producer of specialty metals, and has been held every second year since 1997. This year’s event will have leading engineering professionals speaking on such pressing issues as environmental preservation, the changing engineering workforce, and the latest in specialty metals technology. Additional topics will include biofuels, oil and gas, the chemical processing industry today and tomorrow, fertilizers, chemical cleaning and preparation of final equipment, and failure analysis. In addition, suppliers will be on hand each day with their latest product solutions in the exhibition hall.
