The ProVane motor speed vane pump line is designed for continuous duty operations in low and medium viscosity process applications. Available in both ductile iron and stainless steel models, it features a heavy-duty rotor, low shaft stiffness ratio, and hydrodynamic bearing design for improved PV ratios, bearing life, efficiency and energy consumption, volumetric performance, and service life. Self-adjusting vanes eliminate slip, maintaining near original volumetric output capacity and consistency even after significant wear. The stainless steel model offers all the same standard features as the ductile iron model including operating speeds of 1,200, 1,800 and 3,600 rpm with capacities from 1 to 100 U.S. gpm; it’s available in five sizes ranging from 3/4 to 2 in. Both models offer self-priming capability and low shear fluid transfer. The pumps do not require a gear reducer; a cavitation/noise suppression liner controls the wear effects of cavitation and reduces noise levels up to 15 dBA.
