Electropolishing service totally immerses stainless steel parts in an electrolytic chemical bath and removes the surface high points with 0.0001 in. precision to produce a bright finish on all interior and exterior surfaces. Capable of processing large vessels up to 8 ft long x 5 ft diameter, the process can achieve surface finishes down to RA 2, depending upon part configuration. Performed entirely in-house for optimum quality and rapid delivery, the electropolishing service is certified to ASTM A967 specification for the chemical passivation treatment of stainless steel parts and ASTM B912 for electropolishing.
