Electro-Sensors Inc., Minnetonka, MN, has introduced the Electro-Guard hazard monitoring system, which combines shaft speed, belt alignment, and bearing temperature measurement in a single solution as a way to safeguard conveyed material operations in ethanol production facilities. It allows users to monitor speed and temperature simultaneously. With no end-user calibration necessary, components are ready to use out of the box. Electro-Guard has standard 4-20 mA signals.
