As the industry moves to larger, heavier screens with more separations, a new screen changer has been developed for plant managers needing to boost process efficiency and operator safety. It enables mesh screens to be changed by a single operator without the need for manual lifting or additional tools. The unit can be used with most round separators from 48 to 60 in. in diameter from almost any manufacturer. It lifts up to four sieve, screener, or separator decks at once, with or without deblinding devices, and allows even the bottom screen to be changed without disassembling the decks above it.
