Pumps With Polypropylene Components

Enhancements have been made to the Sandpiper S15 and S20 non-metallic pumps to improve corrosion resistance.

Enhancements have been made to the Sandpiper S15 and S20 non-metallic pumps to improve corrosion resistance. The new pumps have polypropylene, instead of aluminum, center sections and foot brackets. They also boast improved performance. The S15 has an 11 percent increase in maximum flow with a 20 percent reduction in maximum air consumption. The S20 has a 7 percent increase in maximum flow. Other features include a new diaphragm configuration that allows for easier alignment and the elimination of manifold spacers for fewer leak paths.
