Flexeramic structured packing promises high capacity and efficiency while providing a lower pressure drop than other products on the market. Designed for long-lasting performance in acid applications, the structured packing elements are composed of corrugated sheets of ceramic that are vertically aligned in the packed column, eliminating any horizontal surfaces that may create resistance to fluid flow. This geometric construction reduces the channeling of both liquid and vapor and provides the effective contact of sulfuric acid and sulfur trioxide gas. This increased efficiency offers improvements in moisture removal from the incoming air. The packing is suitable for regenerative thermal oxidizer applications.
