The ROTALOG rotary paddle switch from Mucon is designed to signal the presence of bulk materials in silos and hoppers, and for blockage detection in conveyor chutes. A control signal switches the motor circuit off when paddle rotation inside the container is impeded, resulting in increased motor life and no paddle wear. The switch is:
