New from Emerson Process Management is the 9901 chamber range, which allows external mounting of level measurement and control instrumentation on process vessels. This results in easy isolation of the instrument during routine maintenance or calibration. The chambers adapt and extend on the features used in the existing range of Mobrey® chambers by offering a standardized, fully pressure equipment directive (PED) compliant design in accordance with ASME B31.3. This allows customers to buy an integrated bolt-on instrument solutions from Emerson, or simply a chamber for use with existing instrumentation. The 9901 range also features:
- Certified and traceable materials which use full penetration welds and procedures meeting ASME and European standards.
- Hydro testing of chambers on completion, with a full range of NDT or customer inspection options available to order.
- Optional custom design and build service.
- Chambers are available in carbon steel or stainless steel with diameters of 80mm (3”) or 100mm (4”) and centers of up to 6m (19’ 8”).
