Fluke Corp. has posted 4 online videos to briefly explain the advanced features of its newest digital multimeters (DMMs). The company says that these videos are available to help you understand and more easily manipulate such powerful DMM capabilities as TrendCapture, datalogging and minimum/maximum/average testing.

Advanced DMMs, such as the Fluke 289 industrial trending DMM and Fluke 287 electronics multimeter, incorporate a multitude of test and measurement abilities, thus highlighting the need for these video clips that cover:

  • TrendCapture functionality, which enables you to record events and display results on a large screen (built into Fluke 287 and 289 DMMs).
  • Datalogging, thus permitting you to record up to 15,000 measurement events over time—before you download them to a PC—while continuing to gather information, even if you're working in another location.
  • Minimum/maximum/average measurement, allowing you to capture values and notice fluctuations in signal levels, then later retrieve the results by pushing a single button.
  • The user-friendly features of the Fluke 287 and Fluke 289, such as a large backlit display and on-screen help that's accessible by the push of a button.
