Meters for Very Low Flows

S Series plastic impeller meters measure very low minimum flows of water, chemicals, and corrosives. These flowmeters are available in 3/8, 1/2, ¾, and 1 in. nominal pipe sizes with female NPT threads and have 6-24 Vdc pulse outputs that are compatible with many types of control.

S Series plastic impeller meters measure very low minimum flows of water, chemicals, and corrosives. These flowmeters are available in 3/8, ½, ¾, and 1 in. nominal pipe sizes with female NPT threads and have 6-24 Vdc pulse outputs that are compatible with many types of control. They employ ruby ring and ball bearings to allow for flows as low as 0.07 GPM (0.27 LPM) in the 3/8 in. size to 0.5 GPM (1.9 LPM) in the 1 in. size. Maximum flows range from 5 to 40 GPM (18.9 to 150 LPM). Products in this new line include SRP meters for metering water and low-corrosive fluids and SRT meters for greater chemical resistance. The SRP has a polypropylene body, lens cover of acrylic or polypropylene material, standard rotor assembly of Kynar PVDF with tungsten carbide shaft, and O-ring of EPDM. The SRT has a Teflon tetrafluoroethene body and cover, Teflon-coated Viton fluoroelastomer O-ring, and Kynar/ceramic standard rotor assembly.
