Fullerton, CA – Step ladders manufactured by Terra Universal are compatible with ISO cleanliness ratings as well as OSHA safety requirements. They fold for storage in slim spaces, leaving critical floor area available for work-related processes. Within cleanrooms and labs, these one-, two- and three-step ladders are handy ways to access equipment, perform maintenance or take air-flow measurements.
Terra uses electropolished stainless steel to construct the ladders. The process of electropolishing removes impurities from the steel's surface, creates a protective "coating," and makes it smoother and easier to wiped-down. Standard folding ladders also feature 0.75-inch perforations on the step surfaces which minimize particle accumulation and accommodate laminar airflow. Solid steps are available upon request.
Each ladder has non-slip polyurethane feet with all-stainless-steel stems for safe placement of ladders. They support up to 250 lbs of weight and are classified as OSHA Type I (Heavy-Duty) ladders. Handrails allow for easy carrying, as well as safe, confident climbing.
