Data Translation, Inc. (Marlboro, MA) has announced the addition of three new USB-powered data acquisition (DAQ) modules to its ECONseries: the DT9812A, DT9813A, and DT9814A. The new devices offer affordable multifunction capability with the added benefit of USB 2.0 compliance, plus faster sampling rates of up to 100 kSamples/second. According to the company, key design features include:
- 12-bit resolution for analog input/output subsystems, and 8, 16, or 24SE analog input channels for more flexibility.
- Two analog output channels to generate sine, rectangle, triangle, or DC waveforms.
- Digital I/O lines.
- Included software and drivers compatible with Windows XP/Vista/7.
