Dorner (Hartland, WI) is enhancing its AquaPruf and AquaGard sanitary conveyor platforms with the addition of two new accessories: in-feed chutes and incline hoppers. Both of these accessories can be used in bulk handling applications, where items are being fed onto the conveyor, and they can be cleaned by rotating the piece away from the conveyor for access to the belt and frame. According to the company, no tools are required for this cleaning operation. Additional benefits of these new accessories include, according to the company:

  • A 300-series stainless steel construction.
  • The ability to mount to conveyors without any modifications.
  • Adjustment screws that are located outside the food zone.
  • Widths between 6" to 24" in 2" increments, lengths between 24" to 72" in 1" incerments, and angles between 5° to 60° in 5° increments.
