Tri-Mer Corp. (Owosso, MI) has introduced Tri-Flow, a new filtration concept that delivers HEPA-like performance with a MERV 16 rating, according to the company. They have a small footprint with a very large filter surface area, which provides for more flexibility on where to locate the filter on the plant floor. In-line pulse jet cleaning helps maintain a low operating pressure drop, while filter efficiencies of 99.999 percent on 0.5 micron and larger particles are typical. The company offers seven filter media, including options for oleophobic, high temperature, and anti-static applications, all of which is pleated and continuously bonded for maximum dimensional stability. A mounting flange also provides a dust seal to prevent bypass.
