Fort Wayne, Ind. (Manufacturing.net) — PHD, Inc., has recently announced a new series of parallel pneumatic grippers: the Series GRH. These are available in four sizes that provide long jaw travel and long tooling lengths. The company says the design incorporates an extended support guide system with wide slow jaws to minimize the potential for tooling deflection. This also helps provide large moment capabilities and large side load stability. They are ideal for machine tool integrators, assembly machine builders, robotics integrators, bearing manufacturers and more. Other features include:

- A dual bore that provides for higher total grip force.
