Rotronic Instrument Corp. (Hauppauge, N.Y.) has released the new CL11 data logger bench-top display unit, part of a larger inexpensive multimeter product that simultaneously measures and recorders CO2, humidity and temperature. These measurements are important to understand the indoor air quality (IAQ) or various rooms, as a high concentration of CO2 can be a potentially dangerous situation. The instrument is equipped with a Rotronic Hygrometer IN-1 humidity sensor, which is then mated to the company’s SW2.x software package, which allows users to easily set to record incoming data. Additional features include:
- A 40,000 data point memory for CO2, humidity and temperature values.
- Simultaneous display of maximum, minimum and average values.
- An adjustable audible and visual CO2 alarm.
- A real-time clock and optional external temperature probe.
