OMEGA Introduces Compact Non-Contact Infrared Temperature Transmitter

Omega has introduced a new series of non-contact infrared temperature transmitters with the OS151-USB series.

The transmitters have a stainless steel housing a 15:1 or 30:1 optics that make it ideal for most applications associated with liquids, motors, plumbing, food, storage containers and more, according to the company. Additional features and specifications include:

  • Maximum, minimum, average and instantaneous readings.
  • Peak or valley holds.
  • Reflected energy compensation.
  • A 4-20 mA output that is compatible with almost any indicator, controller, recorder or data logger.
