The Revvo Caster Company, Inc. (West Seneca, N.Y.) has announced the release of its new 2H Series twin-wheel casters, which feature a secure bolt-on, four-station direction lock. This feature helps convert swiveling casters into fixed casters for easier straight-line travel. According to the company, they are designed for power towing up to 10 mph and combine the differential action of dual wheels with a narrow footprint, which makes turning easier. Additional features and details include:
- A kingpin-less design and fabricated steel construction.
- Three wheel sizes: 5”, 6” and 8” with load capacities ranging ffrom 1,585 to 3,305 pounds.
- Wheel choices in cast iron, nylon and “Revvothane” (Vulkollan/polyurethane) with precision ball or roller bearings. Customers can also choose between swivel and rigid-top plate models.
- The availability of metric top plates for swivel casters and ISO top plates, which decrease the overall height be 1/8”, for both swivel and fixed versions.
