Dorner Mfg. Corp. (Hartland, Wis.) has developed the new 1100 Series conveyor platform with a compact design and a frame height of ¾”. According to the company, this makes it the smallest low-profile conveyor available in North America. The profile helps the conveyor fit into small spaces, freeing up space for machine or worker space, and making the conveyor ideal for medical, pharmaceutical or general industrial applications with lightweight or very small product movement.

Other features and benefits include:

  • A certification for Clean Room Class 100.
  • A 5/8” roller transfer tail for accurate and efficient small part end transfers, plus a patent-pending pinch drive that allows for a 15-pound load without the need for high belt tension.
  • An anodized aluminum frame with FDA-approved plastic tail plates and stainless fasteners.
  • Availability with fixed speed AC and brushless DC gearmotors, with belt speeds up to 70 feet-per-minute on conveyor lengths from 1.5” to 60” in 1/8” increments.

The company says these conveyors can be build to exact customer specifications and shipped in roughly a week. For more information, visit www.dornerconveyors.com.
