These lighting options are the first fluorescent downlights that meet the new new 2012 ENERGY STAR® luminaire requirements. The Halo line, which consists of 6" and 8" aperture downloads along with 4" and 6" directional downlights, deliver high optical efficiencies of more than 70 percent, according to the company. This translates into fewer fixtures, lower watts per square foot, while still offering enough light through the choice of compact fluorescent, metal halide, tungsten halogen and integrated LED lamping options. All the products in the Halo line feature a fully assembled and pre-wired "boat-shaped" housing frame that allows for quick installation from above or below the ceiling, for both new construction or remodeling projects.
