Beamex, Inc. (Marietta, GA) has entered the temperature calibration business, which the company says is a good fit with their existing range of portable calibrators, calibration software, and other related services. Beamex is offering two different dry block series: Beamex FB Series Field Temperature Blocks and the Beamex MB Series Metrology Temperature Blocks. The FB Series are lightweight, according to the company, while the MB Series are more accurate. Both series of dry blocks communicate with the Beamex MC5 Multifunction Calibrators, which helps enable fully automated temperature calibration and documentation.
In addition, the company is offering Beamex Smart Reference Probes, which are stable reference PRT probes with an integrated memory. They are available in a 300mm straight version, or a 90° bent version.
