SEATTLE (AP) _ Tableau Software Inc. (DATA) on Tuesday reported a loss of $67.4 million in its fourth quarter.
The Seattle-based company said it had a loss of 80 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for stock option expense and pretax expenses, came to 3 cents per share.
The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of 13 analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 8 cents per share.
The provider of analytics and data-visualization software posted revenue of $275.7 million in the period, falling short of Street forecasts. Eleven analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $276.4 million.
Tableau shares have risen 11 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $132.96, a climb of 66 percent in the last 12 months.
