Eyelit Celebrates Its 15th Anniversary

Eyelit Inc. also announced the expansion of its global presence and a preview of things to come.

TORONTO -- Eyelit Inc., a manufacturing software provider for visibility, control, and coordination of manufacturing operations for the aerospace & defense, discrete electronics, semiconductor, and photovoltaic (solar) industries, announced today its 15th anniversary, the expansion of its global presence, and a preview of things to come.

June 23rd marked Eyelit's 15th year in operation, helping high-tech manufacturers maximize their responsiveness, quality, and productivity to effectively meet the challenges of an ever-changing marketplace. "Eyelit has been a profitable company in each year of its history because of its clear customer focus, agility, and innovative products," stated Salil Jain, Founder and President of Eyelit. "We are celebrating our evolution from a provider of complementary solutions to enhance existing MES systems into the leading provider of comprehensive, technologically advanced enterprise MES, Quality Management, Business Process Management and Intelligence, Asset Management, and Automation solutions."

Product portfolio expansion

Eyelit Manufacturing, Eyelit Quality, Eyelit Enterprise, Eyelit Intelligence, and Eyelit Integration have recently been introduced to Eyelit's product offerings. New modules associated to the standard product suite being released this year include Eyelit Multi-Factory, Eyelit Operational Data Store, Eyelit Automated Data Services, Eyelit Executive Dashboards, Eyelit Dispatching, Eyelit Recipe Management, and Eyelit Mobile Web Portal. Salil Jain also stated, "We are a company focused on addressing our customers' most vital needs. Our flexibility and our architecture using advanced technology enable us to closely collaborate with our customers and rapidly develop new, out-of-the-box functionality."

Revenue and geographical expansion

In 2011, Eyelit recognized the highest fourth-quarter revenue in its history, and gained a record number of new customers during the year. About half of Eyelit's new customers are large corporations that exceed $1 billion USD in annual revenues. Eyelit's rapidly growing customer base, established through 100% organic growth, spans the entire spectrum of small, medium, and large enterprises, as well as R&D consortia. In the last 9 months, Eyelit has added new customers in 7 countries across 3 continents, the most recent customer being a large semiconductor foundry in Japan. Eyelit's global presence now extends to 17 countries across 5 continents. Eyelit is actively hiring to keep up with the growing customer demand.

"Many of our customers have implemented Eyelit MES to replace home-grown solutions, or Applied Materials' MES systems (e.g., WorkStream, FactoryWorks, and PROMIS). Although these systems had a large customer base in the 1980s and 1990s, companies have been demanding newer technology for both existing and new plants," stated Dan Estrada, Vice-President of Sales and Marketing. "Eyelit has been firmly established as the next-generation MES technology of choice, suitable for manufacturing any combination of precision products at any production volume."

"We will soon announce results for the first half of 2012, and we expect to set even more revenue records this year," shares Estrada. "We have many solid opportunities on the horizon, driving our conservative projection to end on a high in 2012 with additional growth. We have a lot to celebrate with our employees and customers who make it all happen. To mark our anniversary, Eyelit will be making donations to the SickKids Foundation in Toronto (www.sickkidsfoundation.com) and the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America (www.ccfa.org)."
