Calls to automaker Saab in Trollhattan in southwestern Sweden went unanswered.

Saab is currently experiencing extreme financial difficulties, having delayed salary payments to staff for a third month in a row as it struggles to find funding.

The Swedish tax authority is also in the midst of evaluating its assets for possible collection after Saab failed to pay some outstanding bills.
