HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (AP) — Rubberlite Inc. has completed a $5.7 million expansion and is hiring 30 new employees in Huntington, W.Va.
Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin joined Rubberlite employes and company founder and CEO Allen Mayo for a ribbon-cutting ceremony Tuesday.
The expansion includes a new 52,000-square-foot building and upgrades to the manufacturing process and equipment. The company manufactures engineered rubber and plastic foams that supply a variety of industries, including automotive, electronic, appliance, aerospace, medical, footwear, sporting goods, military and equestrian.
The company has 145 full-time employees.
