BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (AP) — A lawyer for a New Jersey man says he'll be filing a $6 million federal lawsuit over injuries his client suffered in a Connecticut power plant explosion that killed six people in February.

Attorney William Bloss says the lawsuit will be filed Tuesday morning in U.S. District Court in Bridgeport on behalf of 52-year-old Nicholas Novik, of River Vale, N.J. Novik says he suffered head trauma and hearing loss.

The lawsuit names the Middletown plant owner Kleen Energy Systems; Torrington-based general contractor O&G Industries Inc.; Rowley, Mass.-based Keystone Construction & Maintenance Services Inc.; and Acworth, Ga.-based Bluewater Energy Solutions Inc.

Officials from the companies either declined comment or didn't return messages.
