MARTINSBURG, W.Va. (AP) — Berkeley County officials say Quad/Graphics Inc.'s plan to invest $15 million in two plants will create 400 jobs.
QuadGraphics announced last month that it will shut a plant in the Buffalo, N.Y., area by the end of the year and shift the work to sites in West Virginia and Massachusetts.
Berkeley County Development Authority executive director Stephen Christian tells The Journal that 400 full-time workers will be hired over the next 12 to 18 months.
The investment and jobs will be split between the plants. Planned improvements include upgrading press equipment.
Quad/Graphics is based outside Milwaukee and has more than 40 facilities in the United States.
