SPRINGDALE, Ark. (AP) — Tyson Foods says a truck driver has been killed outside its plant in Springdale.

Company spokesman Worth Sparkman says the driver was accidentally pinned between two truck trailers outside of its Berry Street plant about 11 p.m. Wednesday. Sparkman declined to release the driver's name of age.

Officials are still investigating how the driver was killed and say they've notified federal safety authorities.

A spokesman for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration did not immediately return a request for comment.

More than 170 people were hospitalized at the Berry Street plant in June when chlorine gas was leaked inside a building. Authorities say the gas formed when a plant employee accidentally poured chlorine solution into a drum of acid.
