NEW YORK, May 14 (Kyodo) — Honda Motor Corp. said Tuesday it will build a manufacturing plant for its NSX sports car in the U.S. state of Ohio, aiming to introduce the all-new vehicle in 2015 under its luxury brand Acura.

The automaker will invest around $70 million in the new plant, which will be Honda's fifth U.S. factory. All NSX to be sold worldwide will be manufactured in the United States.

Around 100 employees at a nearby plant in Marysville in the state will be transferred to the new production site, Honda said.

Honda unveiled the all-new NSX hybrid concept at the North American International Auto Show last year as a successor to an earlier model whose production was halted in 2005. Honda had initially planned to launch the new model within 2014, but postponed it to the first half of 2015.
