Larson Electronics lighting equipment heads back to the big screen for another grand appearance in the new β€œBatman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice” film. Warner Brothers and DC Entertainment team up to create a sequel to β€œMan of Steel” which will then lead up to the β€œJustice League” movie.

Larson Electronics has experienced significant expansion into the film industry. Their line of industrial grade lighting products have proven to be a popular choice among set designers and film production specialists due to their high performance and modern designs which lend themselves well to the production of today’s action and sci-fi thrillers. The EPL-SL-10-LED explosion proof string light set is ideal for general close work and inspection activities in hazardous locations requiring explosion proof protection. This string light set contains a total of ten 10 watt LED work lights equipped with aluminum hooks and connected in series along 100’ of 14/3 SOOW explosion proof cord. A molded T junction is mounted every ten feet, with three feet of 16/3 SOOW cord connecting a single drop light to the backbone.

The machined aluminum housings, cast aluminum guard, tempered glass lamp globe, and abrasion resistant cord make this a very durable unit that will resist damage from chemicals, abrasion, vibrations and impacts. This lighting solution provides a flexible, easy to manage source of illumination while providing ample length of cord to maneuver through a work space. Each molded T connector contains a hook eyelet, allowing operators to suspend the entire unit off the ground and out of the work space. The cord on this unit is terminated with a 1523P Class 1, Division 1 explosion proof plug for complete protection. A 25’ tail section of main SOOW cord is included to allow ample length for connection to any 120-277 volts AC power source.

β€œIt is very exciting to get calls from movie production companies that are interested in using our products on the big screen,” said Rob Bresnahan with Larsonelectronics.com. β€œRumor has it, these LED string lights are being used to light up the bat cave on the movie set.”
