EYE Lighting International, a leading manufacturer of lamps, luminaires, controls, and related lighting products, will showcase its innovative lighting solutions for parks, streets, campuses and buildings during the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) Los Angeles Lighting Product Show at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium on February 28th.

Mentor, Ohio (February 19, 2013) – EYE Lighting International, a leading manufacturer of lamps, luminaires, controls, and related lighting products, will showcase its innovative lighting solutions for parks, streets, campuses and buildings during the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) Los Angeles Lighting Product Show at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium on February 28th.

EYE Lighting will be featuring its innovative LED and Ceramic Technology lamps and systems, including Pure White Ceramic lamps which provide long-life, white light with higher color rendering and significant energy savings in a traditional package of reliability and serviceability. The EYE kíaroLED® and Aphos luminaires will also be on display.

“The recent acquisition of Aphos Lighting products has strengthened our position in the fast growing LED market. A market in which EYE Lighting kíaroLED has earned a number of awards and accolades as a lighting solution for an extensive range of campus, building and outdoor environments,” said Rob Freitag, vice president of marketing for EYE Lighting International.

EYE kíaroLED (patent pending) color correcting optics improve uniformity and reduce color shift by redirecting light. KíaroLED features an architectural, custom die-cast housing and a variety of illumination levels, color temperatures, distribution types, and intelligent controls for energy upgrade and Dark Sky projects. It received the National Electrical Contractors 2012 Showstopper Award for its optical design that delivers more light on task at lower wattage, resulting in lower operating costs and better visibility with fewer poles.

The Los Angeles Section of the Illuminating Engineering Society offers this event to support local university and college students pursuing architectural and interior design studies with a strong interest in lighting. IESLA has two programs: The Russell Cole Design Competition offering financial rewards to the student winners and the Saul Goldin Internship offering an eight-week summer internship at the California Lighting Technology Center at the University of California at Davis.
