Following one full-year participation in the Ford Rotunda program, Barnes Distribution was honored with the Key Supplier Award for Achievement of Outstanding Marketing Support and Participation. The Barnes Distribution team accepted the award during the 2012 Rotunda Annual Suppliers Meeting in Allen Park, Michigan, after a record year of key-cutting technology sales.
The Key Supplier Award is given for meeting standards that ensure exemplary service and support to the Rotunda Tool and Equipment Program in the areas of sales support, business alignment, dealer service satisfaction, supply chain management and product marketing management.
The Annual Suppliers Meeting featured 120 national suppliers, gathered to engage in a one-day strategic planning session. Featured speakers included Ford Rotunda Sales and Marketing Manager, Jeff Nienhuis, and Director of Service Operations, Mike Berardi. Their joint presentation highlighted a key focus on supplier relations as a recommended sales approach for 2013.
