PURCHASE, N.Y. (AP) — PepsiCo has named Sanjeev Chadha as CEO of the Asia, Middle East and Africa region.
Chadha, who most recently served as president of PepsiCo Middle East and Africa, will oversee all aspects of the AMEA business.
The appointment is effective immediately.
Chadha will report to Chairman and CEO Indra K. Nooyi and will be based in PepsiCo Inc.'s Dubai office.
PepsiCo, whose brands include Gatorade, Tropicana, Quaker and Frito-Lay chips, is based in Purchase, N.Y.
PepsiCo shares finished at $81.74 per share on Friday. That is near the upper end of their 52-week range of $67.39 to $87.06.
