ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — Chicken nuggets and patties distributed in Alaska by Suzanna's Kitchen are being recalled.
The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation says consumers have found pieces of plastic in the products that may have come from bags that held the chicken before production.
The company is recalling 12-ounce cartons of Freebird Fully Cooked Chicken Nuggets with case code 6220, Julian code of 2075 and a use-by date of March 15, 2014.
The company is recalling 12-ounce cartons of Freebird Fully Cooked Gluten Free Soy Chicken Patties with case code of 6244, Julian code 1249 and a use-by date of Sept. 6, 2013.
The company also is recalling 10-pound bulk cases of Fully Cooked Chicken Nuggets, case code of 6221, Julian code 2075, and a use-by date of March 15, 2014.
