The mother of Alex Morris, a 19-year-old who died of cardiac arrest last summer, is suing Monster Beverage Corp., claiming his death was caused by habitually consuming the company's products. The suit follows another like it, which alleges the death of 14-year-old Anais Fournier's death was caused by drinking Monster's products.

The suit follows another like it, which alleges the death of 14-year-old Anais Fournier's death was caused by drinking Monster's products. Alexander Wheeler, an attorney representing the plaintiffs in both cases, said,

"Our allegations in the lawsuits are the same and that's the peoples deaths were caused by these energy drinks and, more specifically, the defendants failure to warn about the dangers."
