RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — Tyson Foods Inc. says it has completed a $14 million investment to increase production capacity at its Hanover County poultry plant.
In addition to installing new equipment, the Arkansas-based company says it also hired 120 additional employees at the plant, increasing its employment to about 760.
The 177,000-square-foot plant produces rotisserie chickens, breast filets, tenders and thighs for food service customers such as restaurants.
The Richmond Times-Dispatch reports that the improvements were part of larger group of expansion and investment projects at the company's multiple facilities.
