Managers at the Dakota Growers Pasta Co. in Carrington, N.D. don't expect many changes under the company's pending new ownership by St. Louis-based cereal maker Post Holdings Inc. Post announced this week that it is buying Dakota Growers for $370 million. Dakota Growers vice president and general manager Ed Irion said:
"What Post has told us is that we will continue to operate quite independently from them. It really is business as usual."
