An explosion sparked a fire at an Archer Daniels Midland corn processing facility in Illinois Wednesday. No one was hurt in the blaze, but the company has temporarily suspended operations at the location while the cause of the fire is being investigated. Jackie Anderson, a spokesperson for the company said,
"We have temporarily halted operations at the Peoria plant while we investigate the cause of the incident and the extent of the damage. Following an initial investigation, we will determine how soon we can resume normal production at the plant. In the meantime, we will meet all customer deliveries from ADM's other corn processing facilities."
